INSPECTION OF DRIVEWAY
The first step in the paving process is to have your driveway inspected by one of our experienced estimators. The estimator will take measurements and detailed notes concerning the layout, the depth of the stone base and the drainage of your driveway

PREPARING THE DRIVEWAY
The driveway is laid out by the estimator per the agreed upon plan. If the existing stone base is inadequate, then stone will be added. If excavation is needed, a 6-8 inch stone base will be installed.

The stone base is then graded for proper drainage. A laser transit and level are used to determine the proper drainage. A tandem axle grader is used to assure that the drainage requirements are met. The stone base is then compacted with a Viberstat hydrostatic roller. Special care is taken to minimize the damage to the surrounding landscape.

PAVING THE DRIVEWAY
A self-propelled paving machine will be used to install your driveway. The paving machine enables the installation of asphalt with a variable width of 4’ – 15’. This feature will satisfy the needs of any paving project. The paving machine is equipped with a vibratory free floating screed which results in the best possible finished surface. An asphalt roller is then used to compact the asphalt. When the project is complete, the end of the driveway will be taped off to keep traffic off of the driveway. A three day cooling off period is recommended before driving on the driveway.
